In all undertakings, other than chores and judicial responsibilities, students retain the right to excuse themselves from a given activity. Students or staff who formally offer workshops, classes or other pursuits agree to this fundamental right. This principle respects the contribution of all community members while it trusts in the child's ability to choose.
